Ambling 100 miles through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from Eastbourne to Winchester, the South Downs Way is a stunning route which is easily accessible from London or the South East of England.

Scotland's Southernmost ski hill, Glencoe, has been called challenging, unique, and one of Scotland's best snowboarding areas (Snowboard World Magazine, 1995), and with its wealth of natural jumps, gulleys, and pipes, we can even forgive Glencoe for not having a purpose-made snowboard park.

Glenshee Ski Centre has opened for the 2010/2011 ski season now, with 15 out of 21 lifts currently running.  

To Scotland's East Coast this week, to the Nevis Range, which opens it's lifts this Saturday (December 18th).

Another Scottish ski hill has opened and at last check was running 4 of it's 14 ski lifts to the top of it's powder-coated piste.

It seems only fair that the first spotlighted ski hill on the Campaign for Real Weekends should be all about the ski hilll that's already open and sending happy Scotsmen and women screaming down their snow-covered hills at the weekends!
